Getting found online: Bink's map and directory

Explore is Bink's public side: people, services, products and events searchable by category and area. How to appear there, and what it takes to get on the map.

What you find inside Explore

Four kinds of result, filterable: People (professionals with their page), Services (booking blocks put in the shop window), Products (what is for sale on Bink) and Events.

Results can be seen as a grid or on the map, and the filters apply to both: search "photographer" and switch to the map, and the map keeps only photographers.

How to get in

You need a published page, a profile photo and at least one category — the one answering "what do you do", up to three. You set them during initial setup or later in settings.

A service takes one extra step: on the booking block you switch on the shop window, so that service appears in results even to people who never visited your profile.

The map requires verification

Everyone appears in the feed, but verified profiles come first, and only they go on the map. It is a substantive choice: a pin on a map asserts that this person really works there, and without an identity check that is not an assertion anyone can make.

Verification is done in settings, with an ID document and a selfie, and costs a little over a euro, once. From then on you have the badge next to your name and a visible pin.

The part that matters most: the address

No address, no pin — and no pin means nobody searching by area finds you. If you receive clients at a studio, put it in. If you work only online, the map is not your channel: lean on categories and on services in the shop window.

It is worth updating the address when you move: the map is the thing most likely to go stale without anyone noticing.

Frequently asked questions

Does appearing on Explore cost anything?

No, it is included in every plan, Free too. You need a published page, a photo and at least one category.

Why am I not on the map?

Because the address or the identity verification is missing. Only verified accounts go on the map; the others still appear in the feed, further down.

Can I choose not to appear?

Yes, you can exclude your profile from Explore in settings at any time.

How do my services get in there?

On the booking block you switch on the shop window: from there the service appears in Explore results with price and city.
